'Scrooge - The Musical'
I
have endeavoured in this Ghostly little book,
to raise the Ghost of an Idea, which shall not put my
readers out of humour with themselves, with each other,
with the season, or with me. May it haunt their houses
pleasantly, and no one wish to lay it.

'Scrooge' The
Musical is based on Charles Dickens' A Christmas Carol.
The story begins on Christmas Eve
1843, when Scrooge, a
miserly
old
money lender, is visited
by
the ghost of Jacob Marley, his late business partner, who warns Scrooge that he
is to be visited by three ghosts. The
Ghost of Christmas Past, The Ghost of Christmas Present and The Ghost of
Christmas Yet-To-Come. He is warned that he must change his miserly ways or he
will be doomed to spend eternity in Hell carrying the chains he has forged in
life.
